Anemia which is associated with poor maternal and perinatal outcome, the most common medical disorder a risk factor in pregnancy causing 20-40% of deaths directly or indirectly through cardiac failure, preeclampsia, antepartum hemorrhage, postpartum hemorrhage puerperal sepsis. The study was aimed to assess knowledge pregnant women about iron deficiency anemia at obstetrics gynecology hospital Karbala city find out associations between Knowledge Levels their Socio-Demographic clinical Data. An accidental sample (N= 85) who attended for receiving antenatal care included study. questionnaire utilized data collection include; socio-demographic data, obstetric health history assessment, regarding Iron anemia. findings indicated that level moderate among women. majority participants (49.4%) have High minority them (24.7%) were Poor 25.9% had fair .The concludes
